Over the years I have worked on a number of Seagal movies and the fight scenes are the funniest things ever. He's so fat he can barely move so he is filmed from chest up in close ups and we stretch the image so he looks thinner. He does a few close up moves in fight scenes and then has to sit down to catch his breathe. Has a stunt double come in to do anything more complex than the odd hand movement. It's hilarious to watch. He produces all of his films now...

One of the last remnants of the UFC's pre-Zuffa era is saying goodbye. Joe Silva, the longtime UFC matchmaker and vice president of talent relations, has informed the UFC that he plans to exit the company in the near future, potentially after the end of the 2016 campaign.
Sources close to the situation confirmed the news to MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani on Wednesday following an initial report by MMA Junkie.
Silva's exit comes in the aftermath of the UFC's sale for a record-breaking $4 billion price tag to an investment group led by WME-IMG, a sale which is believed to have been significantly profitable for the executive wing of Zuffa. Silva is said to be retiring in light of the sale, sources said.
Hope we see him again, it'll be interesting to see if he was a needle mover PPV wise. Setting him up with Gall was silly though, he's a very good up and comer, reminds me of Carlos Condit, great killer instinct.
The better move would have been to give him a "gimme" fight, like they actually did with Gall's first fight in the octagon. Gall fought Mike Jackson, a guy who also had his first pro fight that night, a guy who was boxing almost exclusively.
Gall was just a bad move. Give him a gimmie. What's Thomas Denny up to?
