Calgary Wranglers Season Tickets
Got this email from the Flames today. Thinking about grabbing some seats for the season. The price is definitely right and I'm walking distance to the Dome so it's easy to check out games. Plus can give them to clients and referral partners when I don't have my Flames tickets to give.
What do people think? Has anyone jumped on seats yet?
We're a family of 3 though so not sure if we should get 3 or splurge and get 4 in case daughter wants to bring a friend or something?
"Dear Season Ticket Holder,
It is with great excitement that we welcome the Calgary Flames' new American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Calgary Wranglers, to the Saddledome for the 2022/23 season! Playing the past season in Stockton, our affiliate was the 2nd ranked team in the AHL during the regular season before advancing to the Conference Finals during a strong playoff run. Most importantly, the objective of our affiliate is to develop prospects to make a long lasting impact at the NHL level with the Calgary Flames like recent graduates Andrew Mangiapane, Rasmus Andersson, Dillon Dube, Oliver Kylington, and more. Last season, our affiliate showcased many high end prospects, with promise to become impact Calgary Flames:
- Dustin Wolf: In his rookie season, Wolf was named the top goaltender in the AHL after leading the AHL in wins (33), and ranking near the top in the league in Goals Against Average and Save Percentage;
- Jakob Pelletier: In his first AHL season, Pelletier ranked 2nd in rookie scoring, and 16th overall league wide; and
- Matthew Phillips: Besides ranking 9th in AHL scoring last season, the forward became the Stockton Heat's all-time leading scorer.
Having the AHL Calgary Wranglers in the Saddledome gives Flames fans an inside look at the stars of the Wranglers today, and Calgary Flames of tomorrow.
A player may be our first star on the ice, but you, our season ticket members, are the first star off the ice. Our First Star Package gives you a season ticket for the inaugural season of the Calgary Wranglers at these unbelievable prices:
Adult Season Ticket: $199.99* (reg. $724*)
Child Season Ticket: $99.99* (reg. $386*)"

There is already a thread on this since yesterday on the Wrangler subforum.
And that price is for the entire season (and 2 playoff games) including in the Club seats.

Posted this in the Wranglers board but I'd be interested in 6 or 7 games if someone wanted the rest. I am Flames STH and it's more of a time thing for myself.
The way I read that email is that this deal is only for this year. I am sure they'll offer a discount in the future but probably not this good.
If anyone is interested you can DM me. 30 games for 2 seats works out to roughly $350...$348 and change.

Def signing up. To watch AHL is incredible. These guys compete hard as they are trying to make the jump and will do almost anything to do it.
I love that Mitch Love is a great coach and has the approval of a certain D . SUTTER as such
So when we win the Calder and STANLEY CUP in the same year that has to be something special right.???

Lots of fresh-faced kids on this years AHL squad, particularly up front.
May not match last year's success, but I guess that's why they play the games.

So are these assigned seats or just a general admission pass that you turn into a ticket for any game you go to?

If seasons tix holders don’t want them they should ask if anyone else does and then just sell the lot to that person. I’m only a partial and not the name on the ticket so I can’t.

Today you could have set up a time between 9am and noon to go down to the Saddledome and select a seat ... I just did mine over the phone .

If you're a Flames STH you have till October 8th to get that deal. You have a 8 ticket limit. All 8 seats don't need to be together and you don't have to get them all in one transaction. Just posting as an FYI.
I was able to get Willie Plett a pair yesterday and Sled a pair today

Enough people on here bought cheap seasons that you will almost certainly be better buying privately.
