I'm not worried about it, they would be fools to let him go, and they know it. Plus, he spent time with the Heat last season with the OHL cancellation, which shows good faith on both sides IMO.

Powerplay Quarterback

Interesting to note that Jack Beck is tied for the team lead in goals in Ottawa (15) despite only playing in 17 of 49 games this season. For reference Ottawa ranks dead last in the OHL in terms of goals per game. I think it's also worth pointing out that in AAA he matched the production of his teammate and first round pick Wyatt Johnston who is now absolutely lighting up the OHL. We may be looking at a potential steal here.

I haven’t watched any Beck highlights prior to tonight, but at least on 2 assists of his tonight (didn’t see the 3rd one), they were incredibly nifty plays that showed NHL vision and distribution.
Not sure if that is typical or not but definitely will be watching more video in the future. Ottawa seems to be pretty bad, at his pace he’ll probably be leading his team in scoring while having played 20 fewer games than his teammates. Always a good sign when a player is the engine on their team.

Yeah, it's a good sign that he can produce on that team. Top scorer, Cameron Tolnai has 37pts in 51 games, followed by Vinzenz Rohrer with 34pts in 47 games. Beck is the only player that has even close to a ppg, and he's well above that! If Beck had 51 games under his belt, he would have a projected 71 points! Likes to score goals, but he has good distribution skills.

For sure. He had 23 pts in 34 games last year, but has regressed to 15 pts in 32 games this year. The Mooseheads have a pretty productive group of forwards, but they get very little scoring from their D-Whynot is second in D scoring on the team to Jake Furlong, who has only 21 pts in 41 games. He's still known as being adept in his own zone, makes a good first pass, and skates very well, so there's still hope-some offense would be nice though, and frankly, it was expected.
