Gold bond ultimate is nice but I have been using Vaseline aloe for quite a while and I like it.

I work outside a lot, hands take a real beating. I use O'Keefes, but I find it leaves the hands greasy so I don't use it as often as I should. But it does work.

Is this a wives tail or true?
I don’t see how it can possibly be true as your body doesn’t actively transport water around. I thought it was all osmosis. I could be completely wrong though.

Keri. It's thick, and in the winter it's really the only one that keeps my legs from cracking too badly. But for my face I use vasaline brand (less thick).

George cream.... it was made by a Calgarian for Calgary dry weather. I use it at night when I go to bed.

Vaseline with aloe for my body
Vaseline unscented for my face.
Cocoa butter regular Vaseline for trouble spots.
And I keep a body shop hand lotion at my desk for top ups as my hands dry out basically every time I wash them. Try to keep to the less scented types, I think right now it’s almond milk or something.

I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Holy. I need to invest in lotion companies. I didn't realize Big Lotion had a grip on so many people.
