Seriously though, is the restaurant going to cancel their plans to open if they find out someone posted about it on CP?

I was also under the impression that Good Earth had already leased space in The Kensington, so based on what I heard and the size of the venue Troutman mentions I'm wondering if they'd both fit? Perhaps Good Earth did not finalize their plans to move in there? In that case I wonder if they still want in on Kensington and may just go across the street to the new Lido building?
I'm quite surprised a few of you are so worked up about what I (and Troutman) posted. Sometimes one can't out and out disclose all the info, but they can put enough out there to let people work towards their own theories. Heck at this point what I heard may not come to fruition either.
On another note I saw on Twitter that Ikemen has redone their patio and it looks quite nice, good spot to enjoy some ramen on a nice day.

Hmm, I was told who they are associated with but not the name of the new venue. Perhaps I'll come up with something, however I'm no poet laureate so this could take some time.

Please, please let this be the demise of Julios Barrio. I'd gladly take even a BP's over that relic.
On a side note, are the renos at Regal Beagle done yet?

I'm not trying to be coy. I posted everything I know.
Not replacing Julio's.

First of all, I wouldn't; there is no reason at all to ever go to a BP's. At least Julios has bulldogs.
That being said, I agree that I'd like to see it go... how is it still there, is the question. Do they have some bulletproof, eternal lease? Damning evidence to blackmail the head of Sable Developments with? It just seems like there are any number of tenants who could go in there and make way, way more off the space.

Is it a National or another beer hall? Or are beer halls already over?

I think we reached peak beer hall and are on the downswing. We have not yet reached peak cocktail bar, but you can't really do a 250 seat cocktail bar (or, as PRLR has no doubt discovered, even a much smaller one).

Julios is busy all the time. Its packed almost every time I walk by.
People love terrible mexican food I guess.
Agreed on Peak beer hall. Last thing we need is another Expensive beer and terrible food hall.

From the sounds of it, I wouldn't mind a Bottlescrew Bills type of joint to open up in Kensington.

Sweet, lets hope it's not like the others with 100 beers but 80 of them hopped to hell as some type of faux badge of awesomeness.

We've also clearly reached peak hops. Enough with the hops.

I'm not a huge beer nut, but I heard Hoppy beers are cheap to make, and thats why a lot of small brewers make them. Cheap and easy.
Most are awful.

Agreed, much rather a lovely brown ale or nice stout.
