So Kensington is getting its own board game cafe, I think it'll be in the former Swimco location.

First weekend at Daily and they have serious growing pains. Warned us food will take 45 minutes.

Waiters aren't getting tipped, but it is the fault of the kitchen.

Yah we walked over Saturday morning and they were packed and warned us even though there were some tables open.

We decided to go to Pie Cloud instead.

Heard a very interesting rumour for a possible tenant in the new building on 10th street, The Kensington. I think it would be a good draw for the BRZ and add a new element to the area.

It's funny you think that's gonna bug me at all.

My post does mention it would be a new element in the Kensington BRZ. Would be interesting to see what people may think it would be, or we could continue to talk about how yet another restaurant has opened up.

I'm told a 250 seat restaurant is coming in, which is unusual for a place that is independent and not a franchise.

Brilliant move to the highest vegan per capita location in Calgary. No one to boycott, since we all are PETA sympathizers that don't eat beef. Even the lattes are 100% organic almond milk.

Plus there is a dearth of suburban high priced, mediocre quality restaurants. Why travel to Vero or Wine Bar, when you can have both in a multi hundred seat format with more "accessible" dishes (think Saracha...ooh). Complete with "Beckham" the 19 yr old Sommelier and server, dude knows his Sharaz...
