Series schedule is nuts though, Saturday-Monday....Friday? But yeah this has all the makings of a classic, which means Denver will probably sweep them.

Nope, wolves after blowing that first quarter lead scrapped back to take game one. Edwards is pretty good and with him and McDaniels they can actually guard Denver’s guards.

Lakers frontline did quite well. The problem is they forgot the 3 and D part for wings and guards. Vanderbilt is the only one on the roster who can guard those types. So you have guys like Reaves and DLo guarding Murray and Porter. They just can’t do it. Denver has guys like McDaniels and Alexander-Walker who can plus Edwards ofc who is way more athletic than the Denver players.

Main question here is if the wolves offense can hold up. Jokic is going to have a brutal series with 3 seven footers being thrown at him and multiple big wings locking up his pick and roll options.

How much would the NBA and Adam Silver lose their minds if we get a final four of Indiana/Cleveland and Minnesota/OKC?

Four of the smaller markets, and two teams without franchise players. It won't happen... but it would be funny.

That's the thing though, Adam Silver is not David Stern. You think we get a Heat-Nuggets final last year if David Stern is the commissioner? When a Lakers-Celtics final was one round away? Never, we would have seen #### that would have made 2002 WCF G6 look like the most legitimate game in league history for a Lakers-Celtics matchup. But while that West matchup would be great, that East matchup would be horrific as a round one NBA TV special, as a conference finals....yikes. That would surely get outrated by an NHL ECF of Bruins-Rangers.

In the early '90s, Prince was actually part of a private equity partnership to buy the Minnesota Timberwolves alongside NBA great Magic Johnson, Minneapolis production duo Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and multi-platinum dance diva Janet Jackson. However, while the successful bid never came to fruition, by the time Wolves savior Kevin Garnett was drafted in 1995, a dapper Prince was an omnipresent fixture at games. It was not at all shocking to witness the singer cheering on his beloved team and a ridiculously young Big Ticket, who forged an unlikely friendship with the eccentric funk-rock icon.

Not quite the Reggie Miller vs Spike Lee 90's Pacers vs Knicks. But it's been closely contested.

This is an entertaining game, could be a really good series. Josh Hart is about to play another full game without subbing and he’s out there making hustle plays deep in the 4th quarter.

Another brutal call favouring the Knicks with 12 seconds left!

DiVincenzo sold that hard.

Good job refs. You did what was asked of you.

That was a moving screen though, but the massive flop sold it too. The big call was the kick ball they called that looked like it wasn’t kicked, and then DiVincenzo hit a really big 3 right after. That was a big momentum shift.

Brunson with another incredible game. Special special player. Haliburton got smoked this game and Knicks got the calls. Kinda crazy Knicks look like legit contenders without Randle

Give DiVincenzo credit, elite sell on the flop. It's maybe technically a foul, but they don't call it without the flop. Almost an Alex Burrows-esque head snap by DiVincenzo.

I'm a fan of evenly called games, not the usual NBA shadiness of favouring big markets. The Knicks are the better team, and Brunson is nearing elite territory. They shouldn't need any favourable treatment by the league.

Wow just turned on the night game... absolute decimation. That's without Gobert as well. Incredible!

Nuggets going to lose their first two at home? Yikes. They are built to come back but I really like Minny.

That Pacers/Knicks game was excellent. Knicks have been in some great games so far.

I mentioned the schedule already, but the Wolves have to be pretty pissed now with this lead. Game 3 on Wednesday and I'm thinking sweep for sure. Four days to make adjustments and start working the refs/media is a godsend for the Nuggets.

T-Wolves defesne is insane. I knew they had a good defense but to actually see it go to work is impressive.

I don't really have an NBA team that I cheer for, Raptors by default but don't care that much. I actually found this old tweet of mine from 2016

[Tweet • dbekar81](https://fxtwitter.com/dbekar81/statu...80288707076412)

so im officially on the T-Wolves bandwagon.
