Safe to assume it's a yes. Sometimes the scenery change is all that is needed for a player. And Bennett got Qs trust right out of the gates and hasn't looked back.

What's crazy about Bennett is so many posters knew he had this in him.
It's really astonishing when you think about it. Fans knew what he could bring but our previous coaches didn't see it.

Meh. The penalties kinda suck, but it's part of the package, and somewhat attributable to his powerful and mean play style. He's got enough skill to compensate, always did... but he was 99% of the time playing with really bad players that brought him down. Huberdeau is going to make him a star and that contract is going to be regarded as one of the best in the league. He's getting 30 goals this year and then he's going to rip it up in the playoffs.

It just sucks because he was our highest ever draft pick, a center and a beast in the playoffs. It should have worked out here but the carousel of awful coaches and Sam's inconsistency sealed his fate here.
