Canes up 5-4 in the third, Hitmen score twice to take the lead with two and a half minutes left.

Canes tie it with 33 seconds left.

Off to OT tied 6-6

No confidence in Tetachuk right now.

Roof, have you been going to the games in Lethbridge? I'm wondering how the turnout was at the Grandstand. It looked busy in the parking lot when we walked our dog by, but I couldn't truly tell what it was like inside. My aunt got drawn to go to Nicholas Sheran for game 5. I wonder if she got game 7 too. She caught the fan bus up to the game today in Calgary.

Haven't been able to attend any games because I'm out of town working. I actually live in the Hat now anyways. My dad's a season ticket holder though and he also caught the fan bus up to Calgary today as well.

Looks like the Tigers and Oil Kings are on their way to game 6 OT as well.

Ah that’s too bad for the Hitmen, they had the lead with 2:30 to go

Canes just proving time again how dirty they are with a desperation run at Hitmen goalie McNaughton. Way to represent your team’s colours, captain.

Victoria eliminated the Blazers last night, only one series left to decide.

Round two:

Raiders vs. Blades
Oil Kings vs. Canes/Hitmen

Silvertips vs. Chiefs
Giants vs. Royals

Canes vs. Hitmen game 7 tonight. Go Canes!

Not one upset in round 1, hopefully that trend continues tonight.

I’m cheering for the Hitmen tonight as it’ll be a better matchup for my Oil Kings. Lethbridge makes me nervous.

Congrats on the series victory over the Tigers, the better team definitely prevailed. At least the Tigers made it an interesting series and hopefully it gives them something to build on for next season.

Their star goalie kept them in that series. It could have been a sweep (or no more than a five-game series) if not for that kid.

Yeah, from what I saw (highlights mostly), he was fantastic.

Draft eligible this year (Mads Sogaard) and I'm hoping the Flames snap him up.

Great series. Glad to see the Hitmen pull through. I was honestly expecting a sweep after the first 2 games

WOOHOOOOOO!

So Glad the Hitmen were able to win this series. Despite many predicting a Canes sweep or dominating win, the Hockey gods had to ultimately show that d bag hockey shouldn’t prevail

So fitting that Kastelic got the last goal of the Series

Onwards to the Oil Kings!!

What a disappointing end to the Canes season.

Best offense they've had since Anholt took over but defense and goaltending couldn't keep their end of the deal.

Plucky underdogs make it to round 3 two years in a row.

Then with a much stronger team they bow out in round 1.

Go figure...
