what i don't understand is now with trailers a plenty on YouTube and other sites, movie studios are making R rated trailers for R rated movies, yet they never play these in theaters when you're there to already see an R rated movie. those trailers are always so much better than the PG ones, you'd figure they would want to show them whenever they could

when youre seeing an R-rated movie they show you the r-rated trailers for the most part

i've never seen one in my life at a theater. a recent example is going to see District 9, which is rated R. one of the trailers was for Legion, which has an R rated trailer, yet in the theater they showed the PG version. makes no sense

I think he's talking about the relatively new "Red Band" trailers. Yes, they show trailers for R Rated movies, but I have only seen a few Rated R Trailers.

yeah i understand what he's saying. I have seen movies that have redband trailers before hand. usually the comedy movies have r-rated trailers for other comedy movies
I'm psyched to see this not for the obvious, this is the last flick that Heath Ledger was working on sentiment, but because the story itself looks so beyond surreal and awesome. I've been a fan of Terry Gilliam especially for his visual style and this one looks amazing for that. Btw, the Heath Ledger role was finished by Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farell.
The main reason I want to see this movie isn't Heath Ledger, Jude Law, Colin Farell, or Johnny Deep.
But Tom Waits, because he is the best of them all.
I respect your attempt at originality, and ima let you finish, but Johnny Depp is the greatest and most talented actor of all time.
