Talbot and McDoofus are their entire team. If either one of those guys is off his game even a little bit, they lose 99.9% of the time. Talbot was the difference in this game, standing on his head in the 1st and 2nd when the B's had quite a few grade A chances that should have been goals.

Very happy to see Leafs shut out. Landeskog with a beast of a game - he is very important to that team. We will look back at that 2nd and 3rd period vs Avalanche as the best stretch of hockey over the Flames season. Impressive as hell.

The Dogs can play D...something that the Oil will fail at, over time. Raanta stood on his head, to keep the Dogs in it,until the 'Hawks made some awful turnovers (I'm looking at YOU, Kunitz!). Then down 2, with 5:11 left, Q pulls the goalie. Raanta was STILL in head standing mode, and, eventually, the Dogs did get possession enough for Vinnie Hinostroza to get an ENG (he scored one earlier, with a wicked wrist shot).

Impressions:

Crawford looked good in his 1s start in 10 months, bad turnovers or wretched coverage (and a dumb rookie pinch at the opponent blueline) led to all the AZ goals.
