Probably size, didn’t have an amazing season in the Q. I was watching his U-18 highlights the other week and was pleasantly surprised. Flames know what to look for with their shorter late round picks.

I agree. Im usually all up on the russian prospects and I never seen him coming. Also mad props to the Flames for finally drafting a highly skilled Russian winger.
