Some ladies jumped in front of us on Sprit #1??? WTF.

Course is in ok shape, greens recently punched but rolling pretty true.

Pace of play has always been a joke here.

I can't wait to get rid of these close tee times under the current restrictions. Way less golfers and yet you're still just sitting there on every hole. Plus, longer rounds are even more amplified when you're playing as a single.

I got used to playing as a single and quite enjoyed it. Rounds in 2 to 2 1/2 hours were great. Mind you my course was most likely an anomaly as I do appreciate others had a different experience.

The downside of all that was lost revenue for the courses. With members on my course taking up the majority of the tee times, it left little for the playing public.

Back nice was a little quicker but we were still close to 5 hours.

It will be a long time before I play there again.

That's ridiculous, imo.

Played the Winston back 9 with my son this afternoon. Found it tougher than the front 9. Still a great 1h45.

I am sure this has been covered, but am looking to book my first round of the year and am wondering if tee times can now be booked with any 4 people? Or does the same household rule still apply?

The Winston is fantastic, especially the back 9

Phil Mickelson is a great bunker player but this shot is still amazing, it's a full swing. From last weekend.

Shot 69 at Muirfield Lakes today. First 18 hole round under par. Pace was excellent, we were done in 3h15 minutes.

Course is a little rough around the edges, but the greens are as pure as you'll find anywhere. They are a touch slow, but with some of the tiers and slopes, might be a bit much if they were fast.

That’s a huge achievement, shooting under par in any circumstance requires high quality golf. Congrats!

Played Strathmore this afternoon in 3 hours 20 minutes. I hit an 8 iron 130 yards into the cup on hole 11 for an eagle on a par 4. My greatest shot ever, and I never saw it roll into the cup, not that I care. Thank god I was playing with a buddy to attest the shot. If I never get an ace, this will have to do, and there were no drinks to buy. I'm going to kind of miss the fast pace of twosomes golf when restrictions get eased.

Having a bit of trouble this year. On top of everything I've been keeping perfect scores and have been hard on myself to make good shots, leading to tensing up.

Today I golfed with a good friend who only plays twice a year. We did it the old way, loading up the bags with beers, and doing shots every few holes when the beer cart girl came around. Played really loose and fun and hit a season best 84.

Who knows with this stupid game, lol.

Good to see some good early season scores from everyone. Mine were not spectacular this weekend, so I thought I'd change the subject to equipment.

Got my delivery of Vice Pro golf balls last week. I've been playing the Snell MTB Black for over a year and was quite happy with them, but the durability was a bit questionable, so I thought I'd try Vice out. My first round with the balls was impressive, as the durability is better. I also went with the neon green colour, which at first when I opened them up at home under LED light was underwhelming. When I had them on the course I under partially cloudy skies I was impressed. They're easier to track through the sky and also easier to find in the grass.

Softness, control (spin), etc that you expect from a premium ball was all there too. Give them a go if you're looking to move away from Pro Vs.

Last day of solo play and it ended up being a 4 hour round. I had to wait on every tee box. First slow day in weeks

The worst part is I shot a Connor McDavid when I was hoping to get a Andrew Mangipane

Vice balls are nice and I had once bought 5 dozens of them. However, do not buy the matt ones as they will attract die like nothing else.

I found out this afternoon that timers on my golf course's sprinkler system isn't working properly. I'm in the process of hitting my second shot on hole #16 when the sprinker comes on. I'm about 4 feet from the sprinker head and I got drenched to the delight of my golfing buddies. In the end it was a refreshing experience from the heat
