i was reading today about m$'s plans for external hard drives connecting through the usb port; with that being part of the future, it makes sense that m$ enable that port asap. So we are back to talking about the xbox one's ability to pull and play the correct format.

i still think that with sony suggesting that they would have dlna in the future, microsoft has to either match or beat that.

I used to have my sat on input 1 on the Yamaha. Now, the sat goes to input on the Xbox and the output on the xbox goes to input 1 on the Yamaha. Everything works perfectly.

Make sure you reset your xbox after dicking with the hdmi cables.

This is what I went back to and it worked after I reset my receiver.

I have a MacIntosh MX150 and it got confused when I played with a couple wires.
