Slow start, but I think they expect to do good things this year- especially if they get the services of Cayden Lindstrom back. In the summer, they traded Tomas Mrsic for Ryder Ritchie, which is a huge upgrade in my book, and they added some fantastic imports in D Nilopekka Muhonen, and a favorite of mine in D Veeti Vaisanen. They also added another player I really like in D Bryce Pickford, who is currently leading the team in scoring, with 5 points in 4 games. The Tigers finished 7th overall in 2023-24, and I would dare to predict that they will do much better this year.

Basha is very likely to turn pro after this year, with the ELC signed and turning 20 in Nov 2025.
Hopefully they go on a long this year. They probably have McKenna only for this year and next.

Tigers were ranked #1 in the entire CHL in the pre-season rankings. Expectations are very high for them this season.

Definitely off to a slow start though, struggling against a team in the Rebels that is basically their kryptonite at this point.

slow start for them for sure. Lindstrom isn't back for them yet, and Ritchie hasn't scored a point so far ... but I'd imagine they'll get up to speed at some point. Stacked group.

With Yakemchuk being returned to the Hitmen, is there a chance will Hurtig be paired with him?

Anything is possible, but considering their roles, I would think there’s better options- perhaps Dax Williams or Reese Hamilton?

Oct.11th:

No points again for Luke Misa, and a -2 in a 7-5 loss to Windsor. 6gp/1g/2a/3pts,+2, 0 PIM. Misa is 9th in scoring on the Steelheads. Porter Martone was second star, with another 2g, 1a to lead the OHL with 16 points in just 6 games. The first line in Brampton consists of Martone, Carson Rehkopf, and Angus MacDonnell- I'm not 100% positive, but I think Misa is on the 3rd line right now.

Battaglia is 3rd star in a 7-2 win over Sudbury with 2g, and a +2. He sits in a tie for second in league scoring with 6gp/7g/7a/14pts,+3, 4 PIM.

Mews had no points, and was -3 in a 6-3 loss to Brantford. 5gp/0g/4a/4pts, even, 2 PIM.

Gridin was first star with 1g, and a +1 in a 3-2 win over Blainville-Boisbriand. He must have had a whale of a game, as there were others with more points on the night. 6gp/3g/2a/5pts,-1, 7 PIM.

Basha gets an assist, and was even in a 6-1 win over Brandon. 6gp/2g/3a/5pts,-1, 8 PIM.

Jamieson had no points, -1 in a 4-2 loss to the Warriors. 7gp/0g/3a/3pts,+7, 2 PIM.

I believe Jamieson is paired with the phenom Dupont correct?

and all four of Basha's assists were primary, too.

In late November Moncton will be heading to Quebec City for a game, will be there and let everyone know how Morin plays.

Watched the Remparts get completely dominated yesterday by Rimouski.
