Yup, that is the best contract Lazar could agree too. Having the minimum NHL salary could give him a chance if they are very tight to the cap.

He’ll probably get more than $200k in the AHL

His disposition reminds me of Conroy.

I still love Lazar, if we could keep him for another year or 2 as an AHL tweener/NHL depth guy I'd be happy. Taking a lower NHL salary for a higher AHL one seems smart for both sides. The 750/200 2 way deal like someone mentioned

Oh my God, a Conroy/Lazar Flames podcast would be the best thing ever

Listening to 960 now -- Treliving does sound very intent upon retaining Lazar's rights. Clearly wants to avoid arbitration whenever possible.
There's lots of settings. You'll never find the right one.

Stay....go.....who cares?

He isnt an NHL player, but he may very well be a great AHL player and a good guy...nothing wrong with prospects being around those kind of guys.

Exactly.
And we will see longer term now what his attitude is. He smiled and seemingly went out the way to say all the right things to the cameras and reporters last year, and that certainly gained some empathy amongst said media and fans, and that positive attitude also got the call up for two weeks.

If he thinks he’s still a potential NHL player, all but certain it’s not going to come with the Flames outside of some unusual circumstances of injury.

So your saying if everyone quotes you, you will keep getting email spam, hmmmmmm....

Think you might have to quit, and register a new name, I think we can help you pick a new name, maybe have a poll.

Huh? I'm referring to Scorp getting email every time people reply to his thread, not your signature on Tapatalk.

It’s okay, you don’t have to lie.

It’s the newest identifier for the older crowd. Like “12:00” flashing on the microwave.
