Rieder and Czarnik are both much better and more consistent depth options.

This argument about shot counts places more importance on things that infer potential goals, over and above prioritizing actual goals. One happened.

I mean, yeah, one did, which is great. But all things considered, that goal was pretty unlikely. Budgeting for the future, I find it hard to believe that Rinaldo will be more productive going forward than Rieder, Frolik, Czarnik, etc, and there are only so many spots in the lineup.

I like Rinaldo, but I think he probably has a short shelf life and then needs to sit for a time. Both because of his style and because of his skill level (or lack thereof). He's a guy who can sit for a while, then go all out for a couple games. But if he was a regular, he'd diminish.

In a way Czarnik is the same, except their styles are obviously different. But Czarnik relies on speed and he's most effective when he goes to the net and doesn't stay on the perimeter. He can pull that off ion short spurts but tends to regress to more passive play when he's a regular.

If they had the roster space I'd say use Rinaldo for the physical games and Czarnik for the fast offensive games.
