Not only funny, but it's the same people who did both (the ghermezians). They are also building American Dream in NJ

They actually have a good young team. Won't be surprised if Arizona makes the playoffs this year. I don't think the Wild have a chance in hell of making the playoffs.

Haha while true, that would be akin to basing the entire culture of alberta off of Lloydminster. To be fairrrr.

Complete side point, but love your own location description about St. Albert, ha-ha its so true...I used to call it ''Practice Calgary'' myself when I lived there a few years ago.

Complete with neighborhood-street name letter matching.
Also the birth place of jarome iginla, another place with self important municipal politicians, and historical enemy (now reduced to small satellite neighbor) to Edmonton.

And most neighbourhoods there are the same names as ones here. At one point I was living in Braeside in St. Albert at the same time my sister was in Braeside Calgary..and yes, just the general hate from Edmontonians. That made it an easy transition for me there.

Kessel is from Wisconsin so I imagine he's not fooled by a bad rep anyway. His choice is going to end up being about the team, his future paycheque, etc.
