I think it's a crap shoot at this point, I still think Kanzig is going to surprise a a lot of people and become more than just a 5-6 defenseman.

I went Kulak this round, but yeah I think Agostino is going to be the guy the furthest below where he belongs when the dust settles on this in 5 years.

Kulak for the 4th vote in a row. Can we please take him off the board already?

Yup... Kulak at 16 is probably a bit low for him but it just goes to show how many solid prospects we currently have.
McDonald, Agostino, Culkin, Gilmour, Kanzig and H. Smith are still on the board. When have we ever had a top 20 that rounded out so well? Seriously, these are all solid players.

I thought Kulak would have been selected well before now. Oh well, I guess I'll keep picking him until he is!

Went with Kulak because so far, he looks very similar to Brodie at that age.

Went Agostino.
Not many players left on that list that I've actually watched...

Went with Kulak, he's at least 2-3 years younger than guys like Agostino, put up solid numbers in the WHL and a lot of defenceman are late bloomers, so he could easily have top 4 potential.

Not sure how people can vote for Kanzig just yet. He's either terrible offensively or just unlucky. I would have 5 people ahead of him.
I still can't believe we drafted him that low.

His offensive game can develop over time. He has size, intimidation value (both for fighting or hitting) and his defensive game isn't bad. He's showing signs that he's trying to improve and if he keeps it up, he could turn into something this team really needs.

I am hoping that as much as Cervenka was over-rated (#1C) that Wolf is under rated.
The road to the NHL for Ferland goes through Wolf. Wolf is 24 (25 in September) and reasonably big and his high-lights and interviews seem to indicate an over-the-top aggression.
I don't see him not becoming a fan favorite in the exhibition games.
Bollig - Ferland - Engelland - Wolf - Van Brabant - Kanzig - Smith - Poirier
the cupboard is a lot fuller than when it was Bouma - Alui and Breen.
It will be harder for the smaller skilled players to break through due to more physical options but the ones that rise to the top will definitely have their backs covered.

I voted Kulak, but after this round the 2014 2nd rounders need to get some attention.

Kulak now... Smith, McDonald, Agostino and Culkin next in that order. Can't believe how strong our depth is that a guys like Smith and McDonald might not crack the top 20. Crazy.

Maybe he good be like Regehr, but when comparing their junior numbers even Regehr would rack up some points. Being a top pairing guy will yield points due to exposure alone. Being on the ice, passing the puck, throwing it on net, etc. should result in points.
Kanzig is interesting because he's big and is a decent skater, but its still concerning?

The reason I think he's so valuable is not only his size but the fact that he's doing his best to get better. He can improve his game, you can't teach size. I know size isn't everything but it's a starting point, he's improving and if he continues to do so he'll be a good player. He could turn out to be a bust too, I just like him.

Hunter Smith and it looks like I'll probably be voting him for awhile, which is just fine with me.
