What reason did he give to not have Sven on there? Because that's ridiculous.

I take it Sven does no longer fulfill his criteria to be a prospect (f.e. Pronman uses a 50 NHL games cutoff point or something like that)?

He doesn't consider him a prospect anymore.

Pronman uses the following criteria in defining "Prospect":
Quote:
The criteria for a player to be no longer eligible for this list are: more than 25 games played in any one regular season or 50 career NHL regular-season games. For example, Mikhail Grigorenko is eligible, but Beau Bennett and Brett Connolly are not.

Having Klimchuk ahead of Poirier is insane to me.

Not really sure I agree with that criteria regarding Baertschi. While we all want him to make the next step this season, nothing is set in stone with him yet. I think he's at the same stage as a guy like Reinhart, or even Gaudreau..both of whom are older.

Pronman was never a Poirier fan - baffling, but personal opinions are what they are

I like the optimism about Klimchuck. The kid has a lot of potential and could turn out to be one of our gems.

Other way around. Gaudreau is almost a year younger than Baertschi. I don't think the list changes all that much with Baertschi on it. I'm not sure Baertschi is a Pronman kind of player.

I can see why the three injured guys fell (Poirier Jankowski Gillies) in his list.
Using his definitions, my list is
1. Bennett (slightly ahead of)
2. Gaudreau
.
.
3. Gillies
4. Klimchuk (4-6 are close)
5. Poirier
6. Granlund
.
7. Jankowski (7-9 are close)
8. Sieloff
9. Wotherspoon
.
.
10. Arnold (10-13 are close)
11. Knight
12. Reinhart
13. Kulak

No Ortio? Clearly Pronman and CP have differing takes on Ortio vs Gillies.

You don't think the list changes much if Baertschi was eligible?

On the flip side he's one of the few that ranks Grandlund top 5. I've never seen a media outlet place him in the Flames top 5 as he's usually in the 7-12 area.

I agree Jankowski should fall in rankings, but Seiloff shouldn't be that high.
