Commercials you can't stand!

Ohhh I have the winner! From a woman's point of view anyway. The tampon commercial that says 'Have a happy period'. 2 days of every month I wanna hunt the person down that wrote that commercial, and do really bad things to 'HIM'. It has to be a 'HIM'.

The Telus Parrot commercial that we see 20 times per period during Flames games.

So, Flames don't play tonight, I check to see what is going on in the world of Calgarypuck, the advertisement is that stupid parrot bobbing its head.

My kids, ages 2 1/2 and 10 months, love the Parrot commercial! Granted, the only time we see it is during Flames games since we don't have Telus here in MT. I could see if it was on at other times it would get very annoying.

Personally, I hate the stupid McRib commercials. A line to get into McDonald's for the return of the McRib is flat out ridiculous.

I just remembered this one because I haven't seen it for a while, but that A&W commercial where the guy gets his dad a grandpa burger instead of a papa burger ("Grandpa Burger??!!!?!") makes me want to crash my car into oncoming traffic. Please God, don't let me end up like those people.

Thank God I am not the only one tired of Subway. In Vancouver I have to listen to "Big Daddy" Pratt do his Telus commercial. My car pool buddy and I instantly change the channel, I have no idea if what Telus is trying to sell me is any good since I change the Channel.

lastly - must the commercial be 5 times louder than the show? Good Lord how many times do I have to mute the TV because of commercials.

those gawd awful Opera singing Boston Pizza comercials on fan960. I turn it off everytime they come on. I will never step foot in a BPs ever again due to the commercial.

Its a blatant annoying commercial to make you remember BPs. and I will, trust me BPs, i'll @#$%ing remember!!!!

The one that I like that is purely gratuitous:

The Uncle Ben's rice ad where "it's ready before you are" and a woman with a great rack runs into the kitchen wearing a cleavage-enhancing bra because her rice is already done.

Terribly obvious what they're doing, but I don't mind.

I still think they're miles ahead of Micelina ads when they used the "macarena" song.

I also hate the Rogers home phone guy who talks about it like he invented it, and then takes the phone call and says "oh you've heard of Rogers home phone?". God I want to punch that guy in the jaw.

Regarding the hypnotist, every single time I see it I turn to my wife and say "what the hell is this a commercial for again?", and then the end of the commercial he says "When I clap my hands you will remember nothing". Then we laugh.
