I mentioned this video in a different thread, but here it is. Basically, they ran a season in GM mode for the Flames using our current roster (with all off season moves up to and including the Huberdeau and Mangiapane signings).
It looks like they've done a second season too, but I haven't watched it yet (I'll include it below, but I don't know if it's any good or not).
Anyway, it's just something interesting to watch. He has some weird takes, and makes some interesting trades, but the final result should be pretty familiar to all of us.
Of note, Weegar starts off the season as our highest-rated D with a rating of 87. Next highest is (I think) Tanev with an 84.
Edit: I think everyone's going to get a kick out of who cleans up the awards at the end of the first season.
Season One
Season Two

All we need to do is somehow get Brent Burns, Voracek, and Sonny Milano in season 2 of Huby's contract to win the cup? Dang
I've been beating the Voracek for Monahan drum for a while now lol. I actually think this is a baller trade.
Burns he acquired for Valimaki. Interestingly, I think Carolina is actually a perfect fit for Vali as they have good dmen that can help settle him in the league and a strong finnish core. I would make this trade too.

To have John's crutc.... I mean buddy join him in his kinda close to home, home.
They wouldn't do it. Voracek is a known serviceable player they recently brought back and the cap savings is not great in that swap. I would love to see it though.
EA simulations are good fun but completely random. My favourite was creating a new expansion team and attempting to tank but my first line centre Michael Backlund scored 90 points and led us to the conference finals.
