I mean the Avs played in Minnesota last night, that is some fairly significant travel.

Oilers are rested (as usual).

Just out of curiosity, how often is the home team playing the 2nd half of a back to back where they're coming off the road? Unless it's a Calgary/Edmonton or Pittsburgh/Philly thing, that just seems weird to me.

*edit* nevermind, just realized the Oilers are the home team. Still though, Colorado had to travel from Minny while the Oilers are rested.

It happens a bit more in the East where it's all the same time zone and most flights are less than an hour and a half if that. Especially teams playing Saturday and Sunday matinee.

The "race" for those last couple spots is pretty sad

Only reason why ENG is winning because they are playing a tired team

Buffalo/Pittsburgh is way shorter than 2:50.

Avs are clearly checked out in this one. Tired, out of sorts, and not ready to play. No doubt the clowns at SN and the rest of the media will immediately declare the Oilers Cup favourites again.

The rest of us know better. Can't wait to see these losers get bounced in round 1.

Flames should secure the win tomorrow.

The Western playoff race is pretty much over while the East will be intense with 5 teams battling for 2 spots.

Goals on 4 straight shots to make it 6-4 now. Logan Thompsom doing his best to boost the Flames draft position.
