Gulutzan was just on Fan960. Says they bought the Jobu figurine back in the summer, so they've been planning this for a while. Said they even had a cup of rum for him.

Gladly would have paid that 5 to 10 games ago.
So is having Jobu on a jersey a jersey foul?.

Definition of poor sport. Can't get much more childish than taking the puck and going home after losing.

I agree, when he played fourth line minutes, in a fourth line role he look "okay". When he played important minutes, power play, penalty kill, really any actual important minutes, I wanted cry.
He is TERRIBLE AT HOCKEY! Open net pass, miss! Need to clear the puck, pass to the other TEAM! He is no longer a good hockey player. Why GG puts him out on the ice in important minutes is beyond me to the point I question GG sanity.
On the postives, Smith is playing Awesone (hope to hell he is not hurt).

It's funny, you think back to before the playoff series started, and all you got from the Flames were quotes about how they don't think about the curse, they don't think about how the streak goes back that far, they weren't the players for that entire time, blah blah blah.
Having a Jobu in the locker room, the effort during the game and especially at the end, and Stajan's insistence on getting that puck shows us all of that was just words. They cared. It bothered them. A lot, actually.
Thank Jobu it's over.

My mom who doesn’t watch much hockey: “Why the heck is Brouwer out there on the PP?” We’ve been trying to figure it out for over a year now.

I think most of us wouldn't like it, and taking the stick is not at all the same thing.

Well, the difference being Bieksa *actually* did it, and you "think" Tkachuk would. You're reaching.

Because the Ducks know full well that the curse was held together by scotch tape and binder twine the last three years. They are desperate because they know the Flames are a better team than they are, and they are scared.
It’s over. There is nowhere left to tuck tail, run and hide, Anaheim.
