icon54 Flames Are Who We thought They Are Lose 4-2 to Sad Canucks

This team can't even beat up on the Canucks although we did outshoot them 40-24.

Thursday Morning can't come soon enough and start the necessary changes.

Glad to see Ruzicka get his first NHL point and also to see the Canucks drop in the draft standings.

We knew the Flames couldn't win all four games. Canucks deserved this one. The season from hell is almost over. Let's see what happens next.

Gaudreau only 1 point behind Lindholm. A month ago Gaudreau was about 8 points behind Lindholm.
Tkachuk has produced as well.

If nothing else at least they are increasing their trade values.

If the Flames had won today, they would have been locked into 12th OA.
If they win the next game, they pick 12th. If they lose (regulation or OT), they pick 11th.

Flames have beat up on the Canucks many times. Losing Demko Vs. Domingue in a meaningless game isn't worth being upset about. Not to mention draft picks both ways.

I realize I'm contradicting my own post here, but let's see how few posts we can get in this PGT...

This game was very dull.

-Nestorov getting beat on a few occasions leading to penalties goals against. Hoping this is the last of his games for the Flames.

-Ruszicka was meh. Thought he had some good moments, but some simple plays seemed to be a challenge for him. Congrats to him on the first point and he almost had a goal going to the net too.

-Domingue did get better as it went, but they need a different back up next season.

-Not sure what I think about Mackey. Seemed to do well defensively and I like that he was trying to be noticeable.

-Nice goal by Mang and he was creating some chances for others too.

I forgot it was an afternoon game, then remembered during the second period, and carried on.

The offseason can't come soon enough for this clusterF of a franchise. Again.

LOL - Hrudey just credited Sigalet for Talbot’s shutout.

I actually was happy the way Nestorov started the season for a third pairing guy but he has gone from ok to meh to bad and then to terrible the last 6-8 weeks.
