Forsberg with quite the ‘stache .. Preds all the way- I like that team. Plus I still dislike the hurrricanes for the awful post-game coordinated celebrations. Should be a good series though.

How is it that sportsnet has so many channels and will only put this game on East. Would like to watch this over the caps and bruins which is only showing on 5 channels right now

Fantastic hockey in this series. It seems no one else is watching this one, but man - We suffered through 12 months of no fans, we finally get a passionate, nearly full arena in Raliegh and they basically mute the crowd on the broadcast? Embarrassing.
You can see the fans going crazy, but can't hear anything. What a joke.

Oh do I hate the storm surge... grown men doing a group clap like it’s the end of the kindergarten day . There’s gotta be a more dignified post game celebration that still engages the fans. Embarrassing.

3rd liner must be Don Cherry. I wonder if he also hates when teams go to centre ice and raise their sticks to salute the crowd or come out with sticks for the 3 stars and toss them into the crowd. Signing autographs or posing for pics with fans is a gateway to the evils of post game celebrations.
That game was fun to watch. 12000 fans helped, but the play was pretty great. Happy that either the nhl.tv subscription includes all the playoff games or they are free.

Lol. Ok, point taken. Agree to disagree. I think the storm surge is silly, but I get the fan engagement. I like the salute to the fans with the sticks, fan interaction BTW.

The Carolina Bally commentators are hilarious. Mad at Haula for embellishment, mad at the refs for game management, mad at the refs for not calling an extra on Benning for tossing punches at Martinook while he’s on the ice.
Best thing about it is the colour guy has a voice that Gilbert Godfrey would love. It’s like a small town radio broadcast, not a national broadcast. It’s adding to a fun of the game. Best of all, they have never mentioned McJesus once.

Well they’re definitely not getting out of this series. Had to take one of these first 2. The Hurricanes are legit, could win the cup actually. Very, very good team. No way they lose 4 of next 5 to Nashville.
