And to complete it for pitchers Jays were looking at Walker left the game tonight with some injury. Probably not as serious as Paxton or Odorizzi.

Los Angeles Angels center fielder Mike Trout was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right calf strain and is expected to be out six to eight weeks, the team announced.

I can't say I have sympathy for either, less so for Trout who had been with them for years and knew they were a #### organization. But $430 million guaranteed and living in SoCal with not even the slightest bit of pressure on you, tough to feel too bad for him. Life is still really good and because baseball is what it is because of analytics he'll still be considered one of the 20 or so best to ever do it even when his career ends with three total playoff games played.

Another no hitter tonight, number five in the season. Single season modern record is seven.

80 years ago Joe DiMaggio started his famous hitting streak. The guys at this week in baseball history give a game by game recap.

My god, Ohtani is unbelievable.
It’s too bad he’s on the Angels, he just gets forgotten about. Even though he is finally getting some attention.
I know injuries are fickle, especially now, but if he can keep going we are looking at an all time historic season, and a runaway MVP

SHO TIME is amazing. Why must we have two generational talents on the Angels right now. It's not right.
Trout and Ohtani wasting away on a garbage team, McDavid in No Goodsville, Trevor Lawrence is playing for the Jags. Sports world needs a major realignment.
Anyways why do the Twins suck? 100 wins two seasons ago, top of their division last year, and right now they're horrible.

Detroit's Spencer Turnbull just no-hit Seattle. Fifth nine-inning no-hitter in MLB this year. The record in the Modern Era is seven in one season. Second time the Mariners have been no-hit this season. It's May 18, and they are hitting .199 as a team. That is a real statistic.

They are the worst. 20 years! 20 years without even sniffing the playoffs...and that's including when the playoffs were expanded!

I honestly couldn’t imagine having to be managed by an idiot like Tony La Russa. Hes going to lose his locker room because he is so out of touch with the times and his players.

Yeah, once the manager decides "I don't want to waste a pitchers arm on this crap" all bets are off

Six no hitters against only three teams.
Cleveland, Seattle and Texas.
The league batting average is now under .240.

That seems like a lot so early in the season.

7 in a season is the modern day record.
This is getting stupid. I blame Manfred. That ###### had been tinkering too much with the game and now we're seeing records in futility.
