Really amazing numbers from him. I really don't mind SWR spending the year in AA and then moving him into AAA next year I think that would be a nice progression and maybe getting some time in the majors near the end of next season. Then in terms of service time you have Pearson, Manoah and SWR contract negotiations staggered (I think).

Also the Mets have unlocked something in Sean Reid-Foley because he has been dynamite for them.

When I look at this roster, the big hole is 3B.
Kris Bryant, anyone? Seems like they can afford him, and he’d solve a lot of problems.

Yeah, if the Jays are going big game hunting next off season for a position player, I hope they go after Correa/Story/Seager if any of them go to free agency, then move Bo to 3rd. But if they don't want to rock that boat and will let Bo stay at SS long term then I would love it if they went after Bryant for sure. He would be a fantastic fit IMO.
I'm not sure how much money they will commit long term to an infielder though, they will be paying big money in a few years for the young core.

Vlad does still see himself as a 3B so that might be an option. If he could move to 3B a big bat at 1B might be easier to find.

Don’t look now, but Manoah was bumped back a day (from today to tomorrow) for his next start.
Just so happens to take him off Ryu’s day and puts him on Stripling’s day....lining him up to potentially take that rotation spot?
Or it could be nothing too.

Vlad’s on 1st.
Idunno, still at 3rd.

It's like umpires are begging for the robot ump revolution to begin.
Didn't even come close to that ball and he calls it a foul tip? Wtf.

New drinking game. Do a shot every time Buck or Tabler complain about catchers on one knee

And how does the ump at first base clearly miss the ball hitting the bag? That's a double and possible RBI for Vladdy.

Forewarning, by the 3rd inning you’ll be as loaded as Buck Martinez.

Semien is just raking lately and playing some very underrated D. Get this man locked up long term.

At the very least qualify the guy. I agree though. A three year 60 million dollar deal would be fine by me. Gives some insulation for guys like Groshans and Martin coming up.

Espinal, in my opinion, is the ideal bench player. Great D, can hit fairly well, and can play multiple positions.

He’s had like nine innings for them. Probably best to hold the horses til he has a little more under his belt. Interesting that similar to Ray he’s cut down the walks. Wonder why Walker couldn’t perform the magic with him.

6 runs 13 hits through 6. Not to shabby so far. I really hope the Jay's have a big series against these pretender Red Sox.
