So Tenet was interesting. I didn’t get the complaints about the sound quality of characters’ voices; everything was pretty clear on that front. What wasn’t clear was what was going on. The overall plot was fine understandable, but the details were confusing and seemed really inconsistent.
My hearing must be worse than I thought because so much of the dialogue was absolutely incomprehensible to me. I have to watch again with subtitles.
Mostly the scenes where they have people talking. I looked for some Youtube stuff, but no one actually shows clips in their reviews. So many dialog scenes have overwhelming background noise. Maybe your sound setup works better for it? I've got 5.1 and had a lot of trouble.
Watched Last Action Hero for the first time, thought it was great. Maybe the world wasn't ready for this meta action movie in 1993. Certainly didn't help that it came out one week after a little movie about dinosaur's called Jurassic Park

That might be case then, I was just watching on a plain TV. I guess they could have fixed sound levels.
Is this worth watching? Kind of looks like schlock to me.
It's a mix of every zombie and heist movie trope but it does them pretty well. I just wish it was about 30-40 minutes shorter.
Edit: The scenes with Tig Notaro are a little off-putting. They added her digitally to replace Chris D'Elia so it's not her fault. I think she did a good job.

Army of the Dead was fine. Gives you all you ever need from a zombie movie, gore, death, chunky slimey zombie ooze, bad decisuon from the characters. Yes it runs a bit too long in the tooth. They could have chopped down the final 40.
But overall its a zombie movie, Zach Snyder tried to eff it up and he couldnt. Just too much good zombie movie stuff to miss out on.
Its not Zombieland though. It doesnt even come close.
Started watching Tenant - and while I'm really enjoying it so far, I can't imagine trying to watch in the theatre I don't think there is a movie that I've had to rewind and watch something again so frequently to make sure I know WTF is going on.
The sound mix does also seem really off in some scenes - but I have to think it was a creative choice and not an error.
