I'd lose my mind if that were my mask and I had to see that crooked B logo on the chin all the time.

Not masks, but a great shot of the two new sets of gear - they look awesome.

I'd blame at least a goal against per game on it.

Haha I had the exact same thought. Thought the Flames would be taller up the middle.

I think that's his dad, is it not? Who came to prominence after a playoff series against us - now that moment is immortalized on a mask that bears our colors. That's goalie humor if ever I've seen it.

It's childish of me, and I shouldn't care... But this is blasphemous IMO

I'm just more confused how that isn't a copyright/trademark issue with the 2 brands? Are lids deemed personal and anything goes?

I guess we did see Flanders and Lego too...but I'm legitimately curious?

I like that he put his dad in there, given the story behind it. It's actually self-deprecating I think, reminding us of a fond time when we kickstarted the canucks current freefall into one of the worst teams in the league.

Also, it's an extremely small part of the mask, see the little video a few pages back.

Yeah, the picture is extremely understated, and the Canucks logo will remain virtually invisible to practically everyone. The intent is very obviously not to promote his positive feelings about the Canucks. It's a shout out to his dad, and there is never anything wrong with that.
