Why would anyone bother to make that challenge? If it was anyone selling any gun used in a shooting, sure, but you're talking about a right for private citizens to commence a lawsuit against people who have engaged in illegal activities. If you're in that position the lawsuit is probably not near the top of your list of concerns.

Its the US - I'm sure some gun supporter/NRA will challenge it for someone else.

It is totally theatre, but I'm okay with it. The point is to propose something ludicrous to continue to expose hypocrisy. Of course this will bring an uproar from the same people who support the Texas ban, and it challenges the Supreme Court's partisanship.
It's the Flying Spaghetti Monster of legislation.

Ha ha Meadows is even stupider than advertised. Total boomerang smack down on Trump for hiring based on nothing but ‘loyalty’. Committee should subpoena Hannity and Ingraham.

Could have something to do with this
https://twitter.com/user/status/1471201335177617410
Biden was sold as this centrist deal maker who’d reach across the aisle and he can’t even get his own house in order but I’m sure there’s a bevy of excuses why.

I’d say that a string of broken promises is a return to normalcy, so in that respect, Biden has been a smashing success.

Not to defend Biden, because he doesn't inspire me either. But it's hard to get any legislation passed when two members of your own party seem hell bent on destroying your presidency. The Dems better figure out a way to get those two on board and start passing some much needed legislation before the mid-terms, or they're gonna get destroyed.

Everything is going pretty much exactly as I predicted when he got the nomination, other than me predicting Trump would win (which I made before his COVID debacle).
I would have much preferred to be completely wrong, but here we are.

The best thing about Biden is that he booted the orange moron out of office. I'm really hoping he decides against running in 2024, get someone else in there that can inspire voters. I agree the midterms could get really ugly.
The GOP is a terrible party but they stay on the same page for the most part. The Dems can't get their own team on the same page, can't get out of their own way. It sucks.

There was this perfect gem that encapsulates just how blatant and out in the open corruption is in the U.S.

The one thing that should be hopeful. Is if they are successful building a global minimum corporate tax block. They've made some subtile steps towards making that happen that would be a lot more impactful than most think with any really movement in that direction. Corporation gaining too much leverage over governments is a bigger challenge than most realize.

Isn't the inevitable outcome in that case that Harris will be the nominee? And will then proceed to lose?
