The woes of Dalton Prout
For my money, this guy is even worse than Grossmann was. Guy's been horrible all night, just stood there and watched as Horvat scored in front. Why is he on the penalty kill?
Seriously, get this guy as far away from the team as possible. He should never play for the Flames again

We had a "Woes of Dougie Hamilton" thread. Prout is miles worse, he's terrible and should be sitting for Andersson as long as Hamonic is out. And as a 7D option, Kulak would have been a far better option. It's a crying shame he's playing, he's cost the Flames two goals by himself tonight.

Prout didn't make any effort to tie up Horvat's stick at all. He let him have all the time in the world in the crease. Terrible defense.

He should not have been out on the 5 on 3 but thats not on Prout, thats on the coaches. Why is he out there? Questionable decision.

Good thing Prout is a 7th defenseman and won’t play if there’s no injuries. Don’t see the need for this thread myself. He’s definitely not Grossmann bad.
That said, Andersson would be a much better choice next game.

Grossmann played 11 minutes in his first game and we were all done with him by then.
Prout is really, really horrible. He's been the worst player on the ice by far. He's laid about one good hit, hasn't gotten any meaningful shots through -- if any -- and he's terrible at identifying his man in the d-zone.

Totally lost on the second goal. Took a silly penalty leading to the third goal. Was on the wrong side of his guy on the third goal (and why was in on a 5 on 3 to begin with!) Not an NHL player.
