Man, a new PU in Hamiltons rig might give him a podium. Then again, Mercedes seems to overthink their strategies in situations like this so maybe not. Especially since overtaking the Ferrari and McLaren might be really tough tomorrow in race conditions.

Hamilton drove the hell out of that sprint race. Impressive.
That was a real treat to watch. The last one on Norris was epic. I was surprised the softs lasted for Bottas, I thought for sure he'd get passed by lap 12 or so.
I was wondering about the wing thing, don't both drivers run the same setup? Why was Bottas's car never in question?
What a comeback by Lewis. That new ICE was worth it I guess.
To think this season could come down to a broken DRS wing and a sprint race DQ is crazy.
Tough weekend for McLaren, while Ferrari looked solid.
It’s insane Brazil and Qatar are B2B races.
I get it’s a UK broadcast and I generally like Crofty but him and Brundle were particularly embarrassing today. Claiming definitively that Max drove Lewis off the track, suggesting Red Bull were jealous and accusing Merc of having an illegal car/engine (?? It wasn’t clear what imaginary accusations they were referring to), insulting Bottas for questioning strategy and applauding Lewis for doing the same thing.
Apparently RB suggested the Merc isn’t legal beyond the wing? I just have missed that.

Great race. But Verstappens usual “give way or crash” move, and not getting a penalty for that.
But great entertainment this season overall.
Even though it certainly seems like Max was playing dirty, yet again, without the onboard, which we don’t have yet, it’s impossible to tell if Max was at fault yet.
Based on his history it wouldn’t be a surprise but a near identical incident happened earlier in the race, was it Gasly?, where a driver braked late and it caused him to drift wide in the corner. It’s not always intentional.
2 incredibly long and boring tracks coming up. And never raced before. It's definitely going to come down to who has the faster cars in Qatar and Saudi Arabi.
I suspect Yas Marina is going to be the deciding race. Which is amazing since we haven't had an undecided championship heading all the way to the final race since I want to say Nico Rosbergs title win?

Qatar is so long and viewing racing looks really slow because it's so long and fast sweeping corners. Makes the Texas sweeping esses look tight and technical.

Max had total control of his car and drove flawless for 70 laps. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt for running 15 ft off track just as Lewis is trying to overtake. And the only view that can prove it is missing. Right.
He's showing his immaturity running wide and then weaving all over the track. He doesn't need to do that, this championship is his to lose and he's gonna end up losing it via a penalty or something stupid.

Despite, or probably because of, everything that happened, it was a truly fabulous weekend of racing.
Love the good guy/bad guy narrative - the identity of good/bad guy flip/flopping depending on individual perspective.
Should be a great finish to the season.

I'm assuming nothing comes of it, nor should, but may help set table for similar situation to be scrutinized a bit closer in final races.
Nothing like good old fashioned hate fueled rivalry to make any sport a lot more fun!

Hamilton has been the master of not turning into a corner multiple times in the past.
