Costa Rica have come back to lead 2-1.

The US are down a goal in Panama!

Mexico up early on Honduras

Different lineup, different circumstances.

That was one of the worst games I’ve ever watched.

Road point is good, take it and run.

Leave Shaffelberg at the airport after the giveaway leading to the corner right at the end. Take the road point, nearly a must win on Wednesday!

Is it nice to get a point on the road? Yeah.

Is it frustrating not to pick up a single win from the U.S, Mexico Jamaica games after outplaying the home team for long stretches? Frustrating as hell.

Incredible result for Panama, and their win over the USA is a great result for Canada.

How is it a great result for Canada?

Canada, U.S and Mexico had separated a bit from the pack, Canada is now in 4th with Panama above them.

MegaErtz has made it pretty clear in recent days that he has no idea what he's talking about, this is just more evidence of that.

It's a frustrating result for sure, and there are plenty of questions to be asked especially on squad depth. They could have used some more call ups (Akindele, Corbeanu, Ennin) with all the injuries and suspensions to the attackers in particular. That bench basically forced Herdman to play Davies and David the full 90 because Brym and Shaffleburg aren't nearly on the same level.

I've been following CONCACAF for long enough to not be too beat up about the result though. A depleted and tired squad on a cow pasture less than 72 hours after Azteca? A draw is not the worst result. Lots of bodies are back in for the next game, better pitch, home crowd, and an extra days' rest should lead to a better performance in the next game.

I’d say the next game is rather important. Time to get off the draw train.

Yup it's a concerning step back no matter the roster. The warm and cuddlies over scoring in the Azteca should be well in the rearview mirror.
Over half the venues that Canada will play in CONCACAF are always going to be substandard, so that as an excuse is past it's due date.

A win, at home, against the once anticipated 4th place team in Panama is beyond vital now.
