Scoring Winger

Things really aren't working out for Ronald at Manchester United. Sure, he's going to score a lot of goals from balls landing at his feet in the right areas, but his work rate is so poor, which is what you'd expect from a player in decline at such an advanced age. Commercial aspects aside, I don't know what Manchester United were thinking by bringing him back.

So Brucey gets the chop (no, not like that) but gets a pretty decent severance from the Saudis (no, not like that)

I'll never understand why Newcastle fans have always put Benitez on a pedestal while pouring #### on Bruce. Benitez had 44 and 45 points with them, Bruce had 44 and 45 points them ... it makes no sense at all to hate on that one guy. Ashley was a terrible owner and Bruce did a good job there IMO. Before the Saudis came, they were a meh team that had to be happy with avoiding relegation - and Bruce delivered. They finished 12th and 13th with them. What else did they expect?
Bruce is, what he is ... an old-school coach who grinds out results. He certainly didn't deserve that level of animosity from that fanbase.

Exactly this.
I think with this new influx of cash some Geordies fans are getting a little arrogant.
Now their club 'deserves' a World Class Manager.
Despite not having a 'World Class' squad. Bruce was well suited for the team that he was in charge of.

He's fine.
You just need a coach that can formulate a system to cover for his issues in being able to press at this age.
And maybe don't start him for every single fixture your team plays.

It kind of reminds me of the Oilers. They have to play him because he always makes things happen. Same with Bruno Fernandes.
If Pogba were even remotely more consistent they could take some of the pressure off, but he isnt so they need magic to come from somewhere and if there is one thing Ronaldo provides its magic when you need it most.
That being said, you're right, they're just not set up to play to their strengths. Its not like Edinson Cavani is some useless chump.

I'm gonna put myself out there and go out on a limb and say Norwich are going to get relegated.

United officials need to watch a Chelsea game under Lampard and then one under Tuchel. The difference is incredible.

Total collapse by Everton, from 2-1 up at the 78th minute to a 5-2 loss.

I'm going to watch it because I'm sure Jordan Pickford must go absolutely apoplectic.
Oh..and I just generally enjoy watching Everton lose.
