Default A song you like from a band or artist that you hate

I thought this could be a fun thread, list that one song that you like from a band that you hate with the sullen fury of the gods. I mean we all know there are bands that we hate, when we hear them we cringe, it goes counter to your musical tastes.

I'm going to do two, I have a varied musical taste spectrum, I like Blues I like some country, I love harder rock stuff. I'm into vintage 80's hair metal stuff.

But there are two, that when I hear them playing my head involuntary starts to nod to the beat, or I go, well that was pretty good.

There are two and its weird.

1) Pussycat Dolls Jai ho - Now I hate the pussycat dolls even though they're hotter then hell, but they're the typical manufactured groups gathered by Record executives, they're heavily auto tuned and have that dance heavy manufactured sound to them.

But for some reason with Jai Ho, I like the song, its perky, it sounds different from their other stuff, Nicole really long confusing last name sings it well, and it has a different sound to it.

Miley Cyrus - The climb.

Now I've said below that I think that she's very talented, and at times there's something about her raspy singing voice that gets me, and I really liked her backyard recording, her version of Jolene was very good as well as some other stuff. But I think for a while she went insane and became a overly produced sugary by the books executive creation. But I really like the song The Climb, I love the tempo work on it and how the song builds over time, and how it feels like its a genuine song that she really feels.

Love yourself - The Biebs

Can't say I care for any of his music but found myself liking that one.

There are many songs I like from artists that were creepy or terrible people. I'm not sure what do to with those feelings.

Rockstar by Nickelback

For whatever reason, people hate Nickelback, but amidst all that hatred is one fun song dreaming what it'll be like to be rich and famous as a rockstar

according to a wiki on all the celebs who cameo'd in it: "Celebrities include Billy Gibbons (who voices his lines in the song), Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Gene Simmons, Wayne Gretzky, Jerry Cantrell, Kid Rock, Twista, Lupe Fiasco, Nelly Furtado, the crew from American Chopper, Jordan Carlos, Paul Wall, Ted Nugent, Grant Hill, Taryn Manning, Tom Petkos, Lindsey Shaw, Naked Cowboy, Federico Castelluccio, Riki Lindhome and numerous others

Genuinely hate the guy. I can't think of any other song or artist I could apply to this. Most artists with a song you like usually have at least a handful of other ones you'd enjoy

This is probably true, but if an artist has had five singles, you like one and hate four, you probably aren't going to go dive into their discography.

Assuming we’re talking about disliking their other music, not the artists personalities. Most music I hate, I couldn’t find any songs I liked.

Miley Cyrus’s NIN covers were fun.

I've never liked Bon Jovi. I used to get the crap kicked out of me in junior high school for saying they sucked, and I still don't like them. But I don't hate this song:

Not many artists I can think of that I hate. Sure some music isn't my cup of tea, but that doesn't mean I hate the artists.

Brooklyn Baby by Lana Del Rey.

Also Amy Shark’s first single Adore was good but I can’t stand anything else she’s released.
