I was just thinking about this the other day - it all started when Rob Kerr and Dave Rowe spent a segment reading some of the new cities that were receiving ABA expansion teams.

Shortly thereafter, some kook named Ruby Richmond came on the radio and said “I’m putting an ABA team in Calgary!”

There was a man named Otis who was involved and gave a few interviews, and I really think that if Rob had not brought this story up on air, the entire boondoggle would never have happened.

I also recall asking for Drillers tickets for Christmas (there was a lockout) and after finding out what they were asking for ticket prices, I wasn’t disappointed when I didn’t receive them.

Those look like they say “Drallers”.

I believe it was possession and illegally selling firearms.

I saw someone trying to sell his gameworn jersey on Kijiji awhile back…like murdering your wife added value. He wanted $450 for it!
