Default Recommend a Thai place for Christmas eve

Hey,

Heading out Christmas eve with some of the family for Thai food. Last year we went to Spicy Hut and despite enjoying it in years past we were a little disappointed with it. Anyone here have a spot they love?

Favorite dishes are green thai curry, swimming rama, and of course pad thai.

A Thai Viet mix would also be good.

No clue if they're open Christmas eve, but check out the Chili Club Thai House.

Only heard good things about white elephant. I've never been however.

My favorite is Khao San kitchen on 17th Ave. It gets busy and is kind of a "higher end" place, so it's not cheap. But the food is awesome.

It's in The Pointe Inn so it's kinda sketchy and the water is served in plastic wine glasses, however the food is the best I've ever had.

We've done a couple of New Years Dinners at Thai Nongkhai on Macleod Trail. Fantastic food.

Yeah, that's what the reviews seem to say. Atmosphere and service a little lacking, but the food is authentic and awesome.

The Thai Chili Club is very good as well. Highly recommend the 17th Ave SW location, but don't know if they are open Xmas eve, but a little better of a place to gather for xmas eve.

Went the White Elephant and it was very, very good as well. I would deem this more as a takeout option. As mentioned previous, they serve water is plastic scratched up cups, they have slow service because they are all in the back hand washing the dishes.

I almost want to get them a pro commercial dishwasher to help them out.
