BBC had a news report on lost footage being found of the old show "At last the 1948 show" which ran for 2 seasons and inspired Monty Python and others. Here's the BBC article:
Anyhow whats odd is they have been on youtube for some time, but you should give it a go if your wife's a go'er.. I mean if you love Python like me, some truly golden stuff.
