Default Recommend an awesome Dinner Buffet

I need to find a good, nice buffet...preferably in the south....along the lines of Green's in the Blackfoot Inn. It's a special evening for a party of seven so thought maybe buffet style be best, but open to other nice options. I would book Green's, but it'll be on a Sunday, and their buffet is only on Friday and Saturday.

Only good one I know is the red deer buffet, and that lunch one at the Chinese place downtown.....

Think I might give the Grey Wolf Casino a try. Never been, but heard it was decent, at least a few years back. Anyone been lately?

I suppose you mean Grey Eagle. It's actually pretty nice for your average casino buffet. Clean, pretty friendly staff, includes soda. I've only been for lunch, though. It's pricier for dinner but probably has more selection and better items.

Now I'm hungry. If someone drops out, I'll take their place.

Can't do Grey Eagle, there will be a minor in the group. Dammit, there's not a lot of dinner buffet choices in the city.

Anyone tried the Glenmore Inn's buffet recently?

^ it is always fun watching which diner gets the meat sweats first.

i think somebody needs to bring the city's lack of buffet options to the mayors attention - perhaps they can allocate a couple of buffet stations in their $100m dollar Macleaod trail rebuild

I'm always scared to eat at Bolero or Gaucho. All through dinner I'm thinking "Is this the day my heart explodes?"

When I eat at Gaucho it's not my heart that ends up exploding

I haven't been for dinner but lunch is always solid. I eat there quite a bit as I do a lot of work in that area.

Not a huge selection. They have a salad bar, one or two soups, 2 or 3 proteins, some veggies, a starch and a roast of some sort at lunch typically. The desert bar is pretty awesome though.

How can your butt explode when you eat that much red meat? It should be the opposite
