Played 18 holes for mens league and then sat on the deck of the clubhose with the guys and watched the last period of the Vegas Canadiens game. Everyone was happy to see the Habs win.

I'm finally getting to play Banff Springs this weekend. I've wanted to do this for quite some time and looking forward to it. Mountain golf is just hits different

Hopefully the greens are better for you. They were awful 10 days ago.

Playing Gallagher Canyon this evening, going to try and not melt. Also going to play Okanagan - the Bear tomorrow morning before 7 hopefully to try and miss some of the heat.

The greens were fine on Sunday. Two of them are really slow for some reason but overall in very good condition.

Played Banff Monday evening (for the solstice)... the greens were very good on the front, but some of the ones on the back still have a ways to go. With the 50 ft trees lining every hole, they just don't get enough sun.

Nice to hear about Banff. Playing again in a couple weeks, was debating cancelling. Thats how bad we thought the greens were.

Nice choices. Wildstone is beautiful with a few truly evil greens.

Nice!
I'm at Greywolf, Eagle Ranch and Copper Point this weekend.
Wildstone is a good course. Trickle Creek and Shadow Mountain are nice down there as well.

BC still has interprovincial travel rules? We have a trip to Panorama planned later this summer - curious to hear if you have any issues with your trip.

There’s no enforcement on interprovincial travel. No one I have talked cares either. My drive from Calgary to fernie was 90% Albertans yesterday and has been for weeks now. I just booked a golf package at St Eugene for a client based in Alberta and had zero problems.

I will reiterate what I tell anyone who asks me what I think as someone who lives in BC. I say come on out, and bring your wallet. Tourism based businesses are hurting and need customers, so spend lots of money.

Was in Invermere for a golf trip a couple weeks ago. No issues. In Kelowna now. No issues.

Played Okanagan - Bear yesterday. Was actually a great round. Played in 2 hours 50 minutes after teeing off at 6:57. Just a great round.

I am seeing improvements in my game now. I shot two personal bests:

94 at Kananaskis Mt Kidd from blues (45/49). 1 birdie and 5 pars. 1 ball lost

91 at Heatherglen Hills/Creek from blues (47/44). 1 birdie and 4 pats. 1 ball lost

I have added about 30 yards distance to every club since end of last season and finally getting some height on the ball.

The wedge and putting game need significant improvement. I need to learn some drills and practice, because as soon as I'm within 115 yards, I start having trouble.

The game is getting a lot more fun with losing less balls and shooting a bit more predictable!

Played today and the greens are great - both sides. With this heat, they are fully grown in now.

Played Highwood today for the first time.

Decent course, fairways and greens were in good shape. Probably could use some trimming of the trees on a few holes, #8 is stupid tight off the tees. US Open rough was mildly annoying which made for a longish round.

Got the arccos sensors last week and played a couple of rounds with them.

Great app, great execution. As a numbers nerd I think it’s awesome. Phone in pocket didn’t bother me.

My free trial ends in sept. So I’ll cancel then and probably renew next year.

Anyone play Stewart Creek yet this year? Playing out there next week and I know Silver Tip had a hard winter apparently.

I found that it missed a shot every hole or two and I compensated by adding a putt quickly.

My battery on my Google Pixel 3 died on hole 9 or 10 with the app running.

I was a bit disappointed, but I'll try it today for 9 holes
