If winning the game is the goal, I'd like to see this:
Simon Monahan Gaudreau
Tkachuk Lindholm Mangiapane
Lucic Backlund Leivo
If proving that that those combinations are hot garbage is the goal, then go with that. I know it was only one game, but Nordstrom was really, really bad.
I'd almost rather see Rinaldo draw in.

I'm sorry my joke offended you and AC.
Next time I will, Helen. Next time I will.

#Flames head coach Geoff Ward won't let this extended break go to waste. He's not loving the lack of detail in this practice and just threatened a bag-skate if his squad didn't sharpen up.
Ward is an interesting coach. He has some nuance to him. He definitely has many qualities of the traditional players' coach: looking for player input, making decisions based in part on player input, etc. However, he will also be tough on his players sometimes.

Threatening a bag skate? Ooohh
Talk to me when he launches a stick into the 12th row or beats the hell out of a garbage can.

I too like the coach when they win more than when they lose

Let me try. He had a mask commissioned when he had these pads made but that was a different time. He is working with Daveart and an approved team
of west coast plus Calgary artist to update

When a joke is often targeted at the same people it looks like something that is more than just a joke.
Clearly some people have noticed a pattern. So perhaps self reflect on why that is and ask yourself if you need to adjust your behavior.
When people bring insights to this site - I appreciate it. When they are made fun of for doing so - it can cause less people to do that. I don't see how that helps anyone.

It wasn't that long ago when quite a few people here took delight in that very thing, with the same poster.
On this board, it had been normal behaviour. (it's been much better this past year)

Because what started as a joke turned into piling on which in essence turns into online bullying. I appreciate people stopping that trend.

It wasn't just the piling on of the jokes for me. I noticed a lot of posters were just becoming increasingly snarky and aggressive with their comments. I think for the most part, people have been more relaxed, and in turn, this site has been much more readable and more enjoyable to be a part of.

I think the pandemic has something to do with that.
A common enemy and all that. People are happy to have the community, especially that we're more isolated in real life.
