To be fair ... any team in the division this year is gross not including Calgary... such an odd year but cool at the same time because calgary will play the eastern teams as many times as they would in a 5 year span!

Really doesn't matter as the Flames also need to pass the Leafs and Habs in the standings so you can argue this was the best possible result outside of the Habs getting a loser point. With no out of division play the 3 point games are going to make a big difference as the best outcome of all games not involving the Flames are the other five teams not getting loser points in their losses.

It was bad for the Ducks, the Wild were out shooting them 24-7 halfway through the game. The Ducks woke up when Deslauriers scored Anaheim's 1st goal. Kaapo Kahkonen was in net for the Wild. Minnesota loves close games as all 4 of their games so far have been decided by 1 goal. The Wild a SHG, PPG, and even strength goal in their 3-2 victory.

I've said it in the other OOT's, the PP is brutal for most teams so far. The Sharks-Blues game, both teams were a combined 0/12. Binnington was the reason the Blues get a point, he made 37 saves and bailed his team out in the 3rd period. The Sharks outshot the Blues 17-3. The neat thing in this game was that there was only one icing call!.

The Knights now lead the season series 2-0 over the Coyotes as they are playing each other for 4 straight games. Kessel scored his 4th goal of the season and Theodore with 2 goals in the win as both teams were a combined 1/11 on the PP.

I watched 2 periods of the Leafs vs Oilers game. Dull...dull...dull. The Oilers were doing their version of the N.J. neutral zone trap. Ugh.
