Well, you need to reach the cap floor and it’s good to have veterans around for a rebuilding team

At the intermission though Francis reporting that Treliving is going to go sign Coronato and that part of the deal will be he plays a game this season in order to burn a year of his entry level deal… what a message that is to guys like Phillips who lead the AHL in scoring and do everything they asked of him.

You think Coronato is a better player today than Phillips? Phillips is better than Pelletier I think, personally. He wasn’t given a fair shot. Not remotely. He got tied up in Sutters ego thing, and Pelletier nearly did too before Treliving went and talked to him post- “The Interview”

I think it would be a colossal mistake to build around Kadri though. He is a 50 point centre who had one off the chart year that will never be done again.

Huberdeau is so soft and can’t skate. What an elite talent
