Lanny couldn't fire these guys up. Speaks volumes about how disgruntled they are with the coach/system.

An interim coach bump is about all they have left.

And if you fall short, at least you could get the Sutter cobwebs off ahead of next season.

Get some better vibes in the room and creativity back in their game. Maybe even some music in the room.
Fire Treliving first. This is his team, his vision, his mess. How many more chances do we give this management group with coaches? Do we just keep firing coach after coach?

Team has tuned out. They can't afford 2 more seasons of disgruntled Kadri and Huberdeau.

They ####ed up green lighting it. Lick your wounds, take the L and make the swap.

Markstrom looked so shattered on the bench. Looks like he left his poise on the mechanical bull at ranchmans. Probably his best ride all year.

Kelly has to bring up the Oilers win in OT because that is really who he cares about.

A positive thing tonight is that I thought Sutter had 3 more years with the team but it was only a 2 year extension ending after the 2024-2025 season. Small win

Danault is always so strong on the puck. Tough to knock him off.

By far the MVP of the AHL up until around the midpoint. (Wolf’s up there too). Wasn’t even given a modicum of a chance during his call up. We’ll see who’s right next year.

Phillips is 24, competing with 18 and 19 year olds. No way a future Hall of Famer would still be in the AHL at that age. And Valimaki is a getting top pairing minutes on a terrible team. He would still not be top 6 here, tonight's game notwithstanding.

That has nothing to do with what I said or the flow of the conversation.

It was a hell of an OT. Entertaining.

He's really good, and LA getting him from Mon was kind of a coup for them I thought.

Would really have liked him as a Flame.

How many damn coaches does this team need to go through? It's all we ever hear, over and over, year after year. We could have Scotty Bowman and still not make the playoffs with this team. Something is flawed, but it's hard for me to keep blaming it on every coach we ever bring in.
