According to that NBC article, we acquired Adam Fox in the deal.
Imagine convincing another GM they have one of our players, and then asking them to throw them in to even out the trade. Genius!

Dreger on insider trading says that some teams are wondering if Zadarov is available via trade. Cites Zadarov's fluctuating ice time as the basis for the speculaiton. The belief is the Avs want a forward in return.

Zadarov plays a very physical game. That said, he takes a tone of penalties. I can imagine that this is why he gets fewer minutes some nights. I've never been a fan of his game because of that. Still at 23 He might mature into a dependable second pairing guy.

Wonder if Flames and Vegas would look at something around Neal and Pacioretty if both guys continue to struggle.
Neither has fit in on the new team. Neal would go back to where he had success last year, Flames rumoured to have interest in Pacioretty in the past, and both have 4 years left on the contracts after this one, extra $1.25M on Pacioretty’s cap hit though.

I like that actually. That would be a good Hockey trade for both teams.

Friedman says that he doesn't believe Calgary is on the list of teams that Bobrovsky is willing to waive his NMC that was given to the Blue Jackets earlier this season.
