Reading between the lines, I think this is is going to be the case. Boomer mentioned this a week ago or so saying something along the lines of ‘Elliot will be on the station’ but he didn’t say specifically on the morning show.

Poor decision, in my mind. We get enough of Marek and Friedman together on the podcast. Not sure why we need to hear them together now 5 days a week as well. I liked the weekly hit, it was good to hear some Flames focused discussion from time to time.

If Friedman is just going to be on with Marek, I’m fine with that. Frank Seravalli is the better listen at this stage, and he seems to have a new deal in place where he does guest spots more often.

Agreed. And 960 mornings just has a totally different vibe, very chirpy and jocular. I liked hearing Elliott more in that mode, it's so different from how we usually hear him. That's a shame if it's gone now.

Listened to Hailey's hit. I actually don't mind Marek's show. He gives the guests time to breathe, and only really jumps in if they need a 'give and take' moment, or require a jump. He let Hailey tell full stories, but with Friedman he is in constant conversation. It looks like he can read a room.

No one hour beans and fart conversations, so it's a change in style for sure.

Elliott seems more relaxed and in a joking mood with the guys in the morning, so I like hearing him in the morning hits. Still remember the one where he was shovelling snow while they were interviewing him, and Boomer had to tell him to stop lol.

I must admit, Elliott's segment is the one I always looked forward to the most during the week, along with Steeger's segment on Thursdays.

I don't get why Versteeg isn't on the show anymore. His segment was the best.

Yes, it would be a shame if they didn't bring Versteeg back this season. Guy had fantastic insight IMO. And I loved his stories. His Kessel impression made me laugh.
