The Wings were hit with one huge RFA grid deal that I didn't see coming so to get some cap relief, the Wings have made a trade with Ottawa.

To Ottawa:

To Detroit:
Jesper Fast
Nikita Zaitsev

Took a little hit in overall ratings but still a good dman and a serviceable forward in return but more importantly, freed up some cap space.
