i'd like to see the stats of win percentage of fighters who suffer an eye poke. It sure seems like they lose an awful lot.

Understand why it's Lesnar. Big money fight, which is the direction the UFC has gone the past 3-4 years. Lesnar will be easy money for DC

Cormier is going to dominate Brock, and there is no way around it. However, if Lesnar gets Cormier to the ground and at least a half mount, I think it evens out considerably.

I was just looking at available tickets for UFC in Calgary. So is the days of UFC being a hot ticket gone or is it just Calgary with thousands of unsold seats?

Think it’s most places...especially for the non PPV shows.

The last UFC on Fox show - UFC on Fox 29 drew 11,382 out of capacity 18,300 at Gila River in Phoenix.

The big shows still draw but it’s very card dependant it seems.

I thought about going for the hell of it. But not at $115 for the cheapest seat. Though if I was a big fight fan, $250 for row 2 of the 200 level at the red line would be phenomenal. I'm not sure why those aren't selling. What am I missing here?

Also, lol @ row 2 floor for $850 + $126 in Ticketmaster fees.

Given what the UFC produced last time in respect of fighters pulling themselves from the card, why would you bother buying now?

I bet a tonne of tickets sell within the last 48 hours due to the crap people paid for last time.

Major fight pullouts only seem to be happening for the PPV cards lately. Fight nights don't seem to be having that problem. It's only 4 days away now and all the main card fighters seem to be looking good.

3 former champs and a main event grudge match, hyped for this card.

I really think it’s a pricey ticket and just not a great live event. The atmosphere is one thing, but truthfully you can see what’s going on a lot better on TV. I could be in the minority here, but I think the atmosphere is super testosterone charged and when you mix that with alcohol it can make the whole thing feel a bit tenuous as well.

For me to go back to a UFC event it would have to be the right card. The only one I've been to was UFC 129 in Toronto and I paid $800 for row 12 on the floor. There were two events in Vancouver when I lived there and I didn't think that either card was worth paying to go to.

Picked up a couple of tickets in the 200 level. We had floor seats for 149 but didn’t want to drop the $$$ for this one despite it being a great card. I’ve neen to 5 UFC events and do agree that it’s probably better on TV. However, I want to see the Poirier Alvarez fight in person. I’m fans of both guys and it should be a great scrap.

Is the Hakeem fight on the main card? Very interested in that one as he was one of the trainers at Mike Miles when my wife was going there. He also taught two of my boys for about a year before they chose to play ball hockey instead of pursuing it further.

Second last fight on the prelims on TSN2. There's only four fights on the main card.

What a liver shot by Aldo, so awesome to see him get a W. People forget how good he is. His head movement to escape Stephens punches on the fence after he clipped him was awesome. His boxing is still elite in the UFC.

Flames home opener and McGregor Khabib both Oct 6.

Intetesting how some of the promotional material and video uses the Brooklyn hand cart thing. Pretty much the only holdup to announcing the fight was to get that squared away, and not so much for McGregor, rather so they could use the footage without it still being an active court case.
Not sure how that will play with the fighters "hurt" and thus automatically suing McGregor from that incident.
