If it makes you feel any better, I did the exact same thing, except I traded Chandler Stephenson for him. Because Mrazek was in the AHL at the time, I called him up to my main roster and only then did I realize his cap hit was $8.00M not $800k So, I immediately waived him and lost a prospect for nothing.

Out loud, I said those exact same words a few nights ago. When I saw the cap hit, I thought there was surely a mistake and panicked. I did a search on here and found Slava inked him to 3 x $8m in 2016. Couldn't believe it. The cost is way too much for my blood. Decent rating as a backup though if a team can afford it.
